The PM100X1 is a 100 Watt dynamic power mono amp using DC and AC voltages present on existing radio speaker outputs. This design allows connection to a speaker wire without running a B+ cable. It also presents a safe load to the radio amp circuit to eliminate excessive wear and tear on the radio, making it ideal for OEM and aftermarket radio integration. The conformal coated PCB allows for mobile, motorsport and marine applications. PM100X1K “KIT” ships with 2 pcs.

These pair of amps are water resistance and can be place in a door of a car.. but don’t recommend it . They work great for marine use when just need little more power for your 2 and 3 way speaker systems..100 watts max output. These amps are sold in pairs there is a couple of ways to use these.

Dust – We make sure that displays and motor structures are sealed up tight so they look as clear as possible and perform day in and day out no matter how many times you hit the trails.
UV Inhibitor Materials – Centrex and ASA plastic materials are used for their UV radiation resistance and components are tested in accordance with ASTM D4329 testing and certification procedures.
Corrosion Protection (Electronics) – Two part epoxy coated PCB boards prevent corrosion of critical components due to exposure in moisture rich environments.
Stainless Hardware – Stainless hardware is used due to its natural resistance to corrosion and rusting. This ensures that electrical connections will not degrade over time due to exposure to the elements.

Patented BTL powered “FreeLoad” technology is a small amplifier that does not require a B+/GND connection to produce power.


Our Patented FREELOAD technology not only takes in the audio signal from the source unit to amplify, but also to power the PM100X1. This is accomplished by presenting the source unit’s amplifier circuit a constant “load” relative to the radios capability; 2-Ohms for a 2-Ohm radio or 4-Ohms for a 4-Ohm radio. By doing this, the radio is producing consistent output power even as the signal’s sine wave is dropping back to zero. It is this “free” energy that charges the internal capacitor bank for the amplifier to produce higher output power when needed.



Power ratings on Rockford Fosgate amplifiers conform to CEA-2006 industry standards. These guidelines mean your amplifier’s output power ratings are REAL POWER numbers, not inflated marketing ratings.
